Rules To Play European Blackjack?

European Blackjack is the same as the original Blackjack game. European Blackjack is a fast and exciting Online Casino Game. The strategies involved in playing the game of European Blackjack are as simple as the rules. In European Blackjack, the aim of the game is to beat the dealer by having a hand that totals 21 or is closer to 21 than the dealer's hand.

The game is played with 2 decks of 52 cards. The Player is dealt with two cards face up. The dealer is dealt with one card face up. There is a rule which is known as the "No Peek" rule in European Blackjack which means that the dealer cannot check if he has blackjack until the second dealer card is dealt, after the player has finished his hand. Therefore, if the dealer does end up with blackjack, then the player shall lose any additional bets made. The dealer can only get blackjack on the hand if the first dealer card is a 10-value card or an Ace.

The Dealer can offer either Surrender, Insurance or Even Money depending upon the dealer's up card. If the up card offered by the dealer is not an ace then the dealer can offer early surrender. Where players without blackjack are offered Surrender. Players accepting surrender lose half of their original bet, and the hand is concluded.

In case the Up card of the dealer is an Ace and the player does not have blackjack, then the player is offered "insurance", which means the player makes a second bet where the value of the second bet shall be half of the original bet that the dealer has Blackjack. In such a case the player loses his initial bet but is paid 2 to 1 on the insurance bet. In case the dealer fails to have Blackjack, then the insurance bet is lost. Once the player has selected insurance, then the hand is played out. If the player busts, then their original bet is lost but the insurance bet stays till the dealer's hand is resolved.

In case the dealer's up card is an Ace and the player has a Blackjack, then the player is offered 'even money'. When taking even money, player is instantly paid 1:1 by doubling the player's chip amount in the bet circle. When the player takes even money, that means the player gives up the normal 3:2 payoff, irrespective of the dealer having blackjack or not.
